Dr. Anway’s commitment to systemic change extends through active participation as a board member, and on coalitions and work groups focused on educational and youth transformation. She remains passionate about learning from the educators and kindred spirits she encounters, as well as from her three spirited grandchildren who teach her about joy, curiosity, and authentic connection.
An educator at heart, Leslie believes creating truly safe learning environments requires addressing the whole person—understanding how nervous systems, internal landscapes, and capacity for presence impact our ability to learn, teach, and thrive together.
